Overview
Since 2007, Yoon & Yang’s Russia & CIS Team has been offering swift and effective legal advice on issues related to domestic companies’ entry into CIS countries, including Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. Established in January 2008, the Tashkent Office in Uzbekistan plays a pivotal advisory role in the Russian and the CIS region. It is at the forefront of spearheading domestic companies’ foreign market entry and improving the Uzbek laws and systems.
The Tashkent Office is led by Russia-licensed Hanchil Kim, one of Korean pioneers in Russia & CIS practice, and is supported by numerous Uzbek local attorneys, including Salamatdin Kabulov and Dilshod Abduraimov. For each matter, the local Uzbek attorneys, the Russia-CIS Team attorneys at the head office, and attorneys in other specialized teams come together to form a dedicated task force.
