Jae Ho Cho is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice area is construction.
After completing his military service as a sergeant, Mr. Cho passed the 39th Korean Bar Exam. He began is legal career as a prosecutor for eight years before being hired as an executive vice president of the Domestic Legal Division at GS Engineering & Construction in 2008. During the first six years, he was mainly in charge of reviewing legal risks and resolving disputes related to various litigations and investment matters and thereafter, he was transferred to the Housing Business division where he handled matters on various outsourcing projects and in-house projects for three years. Since 2017, Mr. Cho served as the head (managing director) of the Urban Redevelopment Group which oversees redevelopment, reconstruction and remodeling projects, and mainly handled matters on project implementation approval of construction unions, general meeting on management and disposal, relocation, commencement and completion of demolition and construction works. He also was in charge for seven years of handling profit and loss reviews, proposal preparations, and development of strategies to win orders to be selected as the construction company for new projects. In 2024, Mr. Cho joined Yoon & Yang where he handles diverse legal issues for the Construction Practice Group.
