YOON&YANG

Geonyoung Koh is partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice area include criminal defense and intellectual property.
Prior to joinig Yoon & Yang, Mr. Koh served as a prosecutor at the Suwon Prosecutors’ Office (Industrial Technology Crime Investigation Division) and the Seoul Eastern Prosecutors’ Office (Cyber Crime Investigation Division). He has extensive experience conducting investigations in such matters as technology leakage (trade secret), information & communication, personal information protection, and cryptocurrency.
Mr. Koh obtained his Master’s Degree in computer engineering (specialized major: network) before entering Yonsei University’s Graduate School of Law. Thereafter, he worked as a software engineer for roughly 8 years at NHN Co., Ltd. (currently NAVER Co., Ltd.) and PANTECH & CURITEL Co., Ltd. where he accumulated experience in developing search engines and device drivers, and became an IT expert.
